Review of the Masada and Dead Sea tour from Tel Aviv, with cable-car views, desert history, floating, Qumran sights, and practical tips.

“Went with zero expectations to Masada but left it trully amazed. The view from the top and all the history of Masada is very interesting and worth seeing. Dead sea as expected was very good, unfortunatelly the beach where you are allowed to be in is not so big, but the guide explained all reasons for that. So if you are in Israel this is 100% a Must!”

“This was probably one of my favorite trips/experiences I’ve been on. I enjoyed the Dead Sea and Masada. They gave you ample time for both (especially for the Dead Sea) and I definitely felt that they did a good job organizing it. I highly recommend to others.”

“Beyond disappointing! My son and I signed up for the Masada/Dead Sea tour. We only had one day to see these sights and we had many options, but chose Viator. We were left waiting in front of our hotel for an hour and the tour guide never showed up! We messaged Read more”

Plenty of time at Masada, Ein Gedi, and Dead Sea to keep it fresh without getting board or restless for the next stop. Highly recommend!”

Review of the 9-hour Masada, Ein Gedi, and Dead Sea tour from Tel Aviv, with practical advice on timing, costs, guides, and value.

“This tour is just ok. There is a lot left out and misleading information on this webpage: * If you leave from Tel Aviv, it will take 4 hours (instead of 2) to get to Masada because of stops in Jerusalem and a gas station. * The dead sea beach is not free. * The tour guide wants you to bring cash so he can pay entrance fees without waiting in line. * The tour limit is 50 people not 30! * no food or drinks on the bus (and no time for food stops on the tour) Bring lot sof snacks and meals. You stop at a gas station…”

“despite a 45' delay of the driver in the morning, he managed to get us to Masada in time to hike and see the sunrise...wonderful! Ein Gedi oasis has been a super surprise. Dead Sea funny but, in my opinion, the less interesting part of the trip!”

Visit Masada, hike Ein Gedi, and float in the Dead Sea on a practical Jerusalem day tour with transport and beach entry included.

“I suffered in the intense heat and it stopped me from enjoying the tour. That is my issue and no fault of the tour organizers. the tour ran as advertised , scheduled well and ran on time. I felt ein gedi was a waste of time because of the heat and lack of anything interesting there personal view. The dead sea was enjoyable as well as an opportunity to cool off. The one negative I have is that there are no decent food stops, ein gedi has poor food choice, likewise Masada ...so bring your own food!”

“Excellent tour! Our driver/guide Samuel was from the Dead Sea region and shared so many interesting stories. All the stops at Ein Gedi, Massada and Dead Sea beach were fascinating and we had enough time at each stop. It’s great to travel with a company (Abraham tours) that has a conscience and provides great service. Loved every minute of the tour.”
